Philadelphia Lone Star FC–Liberia, known locally as the Stars in Liberia, produced a dramatic late comeback on Wednesday to defeat Soccer Ambassadors FC 3–2 at TUSA Field in LFA Central Monrovia Third Division action.
The victory improves the Stars in Liberia’s record to 4-1-2 (W-D-L) through seven matches as the team continues its push for promotion back to the Second Division.
The hosts opened the scoring in the 15th minute when Abenigo Grisby finished a well-worked attacking move to give the home side an early 1–0 lead.

The visitors responded shortly after halftime to level the match 1–1 in the 50th minute, before taking the lead from the penalty spot in the 75th minute, setting up a tense finish.
The Stars in Liberia responded with determination in the closing stages.
Defender Prince Coomber, who entered the match as a substitute, delivered a remarkable late impact. Coomber equalized in the 79th minute before completing the comeback with the winning goal in the 85th minute, sealing a memorable victory for the home side.
