Philadelphia Lone Star FC Announces 2026 First Team Technical Staff

Philadelphia Lone Star FC is proud to announce its First Team Technical Staff for the 2026 season, highlighted by continuity, experience, and a shared history rooted deeply within the club.

Leading the group is Head Coach Fatoma Turay, who returns for his ninth season at the helm of the First Team. A former Philadelphia Lone Star player and a native of Sierra Leone, Turay holds a US Soccer National D License and is currently a National C License candidate. His long-standing leadership continues to set the competitive and cultural standard for the club.

Joining him on the sidelines are three Assistant Coaches, all former Philadelphia Lone Star players:

  • Arnold Kennedy (🇱🇷) returns for his fourth season as an Assistant Coach. Kennedy is a US Soccer National D License candidate and brings valuable experience from his time playing professionally in Europe.
  • Yaya Fane (🇨🇮) also enters his fourth season with the First Team staff. A National D License candidate, Fane has been instrumental in player development and maintaining the club’s identity on and off the field.
  • Siafa Dempster (🇱🇷) joins the staff for his first season as an Assistant Coach. Dempster holds a US Soccer National D License and is currently a National C License candidate, continuing the club’s emphasis on coach education and development.

Completing the technical staff is Goalkeeper Coach Prince Monyan (🇱🇷), who returns for his fourth season in the role. A former Lone Star goalkeeper himself, Monyan has played a key role in developing goalkeepers within the club pathway.

This staff represents more than just experience — it reflects Philadelphia Lone Star FC’s commitment to building from within. Much like elite professional clubs that elevate former players into leadership roles, Lone Star continues to empower those who understand the club’s values, culture, and expectations.

From former players to trusted leaders, the 2026 First Team Technical Staff embodies continuity, pride, and a shared mission as the club prepares for another competitive season.

We Shine On.
