Born in Man, Ivory Coast, forward Daouda David Camara joined Philadelphia Lone Star FC in 2017.

The 26-year-old Ivorian forward will be returning for his third season with the Stars’ UPSL team.

Camara has been an integral member of the UPSL squad leading them to two successive American Division playoff appearances during the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

Camara also had a brief stint with the First Team in 2018, leading them to their second State Open Cup title after appearing two times with three assists.

A four-year starter at Bryn Athyn College, Camara was named to the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Men’s Soccer All-Conference third team in 2017 after leading the Lions with seven goals and 16 points during his senior year.

Camara finished up his four-year Bryn Athyn career with 28 goals and 65 points, both program records, in 63 career appearances with 60 starts.
